On Thursday, 6 February 2025, fieldwork took place in the area of the Trnovšca watercourse in the Osapska Valley in the framework of the TORRENT project. The watercourse, which has a torrential character, is located in the forested terrain between Tinjan and the Osapska Valley.
The fieldwork was carried out by representatives of the Regional Development Centre Koper, the University of Ljubljana and the University of Udine. The latter, who are also the project’s lead partner, coordinated the fieldwork.
The main purpose of the fieldwork was a high-resolution topographic survey using a drone. In addition to the drone analysis, the position of some structures on the watercourse and the condition and functionality of the structures were also checked. The data collected is essential for the continuation of the project activities.
