On Tuesday, February 24, at 1:00 p.m., an online event entitled FLOODS AND RISKS – monitoring and research to improve the safety of areas will take place. The event will be organized as part of the TORRENT project of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia program. The event will feature a scientific seminar entitled ‘Reducing the risk of debris flows: the case of Koroška Bela’, presented by Dr. Jošt Sodnik, and a presentation of the TORRENT project and its results to date.

A parallel event in Italian will take place on February 19, 2026, at 3 p.m. in the Event Hall of the Library of the Scientific Center of the University of Udine (Via delle Scienze, Udine).
