On Friday, May 15, at 10:00 a.m., a workshop titled TOOLS FOR MONITORING AND ANALYSIS OF MOUNTAIN WATERSHEDS will take place at the CeSFAM laboratories (Centro Servizi per le Foreste e le Attivitá della Montagna, Via Nazionale No. 5, Paluzza, Udine). The workshop is organized as part of the TORRENT project under the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia program. First, there will be a presentation of the handbook for monitoring and analysing mountain watersheds, followed by a presentation of experiences with field measurements during the construction of hydrotechnical structures. The event will conclude with a practical field exercise on methods for measuring hydrotechnical and forestry infrastructure as well as channel characteristics using LiDAR technology with a drone.
The event will take place live. Bilingual interpretation from Italian to Slovenian will be provided.
