The main goal is to promote the development of cycling tourism as a form of sustainable economic development in the cross-border area along the cycling links Adriabike (Kranjska Gora-Ravenna), D7 (Robič-Jelšane) and FVG3 (Ciclovia Pedemontana). This will be achieved by improving access to attractions along these routes by upgrading cycling infrastructure and by establishing a management structure for the D7 and FVG3 routes. The good practice of developing cycling tourism (designing a tourist product, improving the offer and its management) will be transferred from the Eastern Veneto to the new areas: Brkini (D7) and the Valley of the Torre and Natisone rivers (FVG3). Three new multimodal lines for the transport of bicycles will be established: two shipping lines in Eastern Veneto and one road between routes D7 and FVG3. Good practice in public passenger transport planning from the Gorizia region and FVG will be transferred to Slovenian Istria.

- A traffic study will be prepared with proposals for the optimization of scheduled and cross-border public bus transport in the region and the introduction of seasonal lines for the transport of bicycles. The project activities will contribute to the development of the inland cycling network, which connects to the strategic coastal cycling route Adrioncycletour. The traffic study will benefit the cross-border working group for sustainable tourism and mobility, which will be established in the Adrioncycletour project.
- The contribution of the project to the challenges of the project area will be in the development of support services for the tourist offer, the upgrading of green infrastructure and sustainable transport services, a cross-border approach in the creation of a common tourist offer and in the improvement of its management.
